5) Linksys WRTP54G phone adapter (wireless is disabled)
6) Network path is as follows: vtech phone plugs into the WRTP54G which plugs into a Foundry workgroup switch which connects to a Linksys BEFSR11 router which connects to the Linksys BEFCMU10v4 cable modem.

7) The primary issue is that when making calls, at random times (it could be 2 minutes into a call, it could be 1 hour into a call) the call will drop and take my Internet connection with it. All lights on the cable modem, router and phone adapter appear normal but a quick browser page test will show that the Internet is not functional. During this time I still get a dial tone and if I have voice mail I can still hear the beeping tone indicating so, but I cannot get any calls to connect (just dead air). At this point I can either wait 5 minutes or so for everything to come back online (eventually the Internet will start working again and then the phone line 1 light on the adapter will go out and then eventually come back online) or I can reboot all the devices (router, phone adapter, cable modem). Except for the random call drops and death of the Internet my call quality is exceptional.
