Vonage 1. No, I cannot ping either 192.168.1.18 (DHCP assigned from first router) or
1. No, I cannot ping either 192.168.1.18 (DHCP assigned from first router) or 192.168.15.1 (default for RT31P2). I just get timeouts in both cases.
2. My original router does not allow static addresses that I can find. I have searched but it only seems to use DHCP to create addresses. I have checked the MAC address listing and know that I have the address assigned to the RT31P2 by router. I have all the MAC addresses of all my devices and can see easily which addresses they have been assigned.
3. I'm not sure how to tell if NAT is turned on. I'm not that sophisticated in these things. Advice?
4. Yes, I cannot put the RT31P2 first. I use a relatively new Linksys WCG200 which is a combined cable modem/router/wireless access point. Since that device includes my modem, I must put the phone adapter behind it. Otherwise, I definitely would put the phone adapter in front.
