2. We're working with a cable modem through Knology.

3. We're downloading at a rate of approx. 3574 kbps and uploading at 359 kbps.

4. Our modem was given to us by knology - It's a HomeConnect cable modem and the model # is 3CR29223.

5. Our system is set up as follows: vt2542 > wireless router (netgear WGR614) > knology modem.

6. (The problem!!) In both incoming and outgoing calls, we're experiencing massive amounts of breaks in the connection. They can span from 2 seconds to nearly 7, as complete areas of silence. No sound can be transfered either way. On other occasions (which are becoming more frequent), we aren't even able to speak to anyone once the call is received. We're just completely blocked from speaking, as if our line is on mute. On those such occasions, we can hear the other person just fine. They seem to be two very different problems and I'm really hoping there's an easy solution to all of this.

Let me also say that this is all a very new incident. We've had Vonage for a few months now and only started having these problems about a week ago.
