5. Type of adapter? Where do I find this out? The only hardware from Vonage I have says vt1005 on it.
6. Modem -> Linksys BEFW11S4 Router -> PCs & Vonage Adapter
7. Calls cut out in terrible rolling audio on one side, occasionally our side occasionally the other's side.
8. Test Failed

Your computer couldn't call our location on the standard SIP port (5060), but did successfully communicate over a commonly available port (6000).

I tried powering off the Vonage adapter, and I enabled DMZ on my PC, but this test always comes up as failed.

I have not configured my router in any way to compliment the Vonage adapter as I do not know how. I did look for QoS settings, but this model router does not seem to have any. I also don't know how to configure the voice terminal via browser when it's set up in the "home network configuration".

According to my mother, the calls have a tendency to get bad after 5 PM, and usually on our side - much less often on their side.
