Vonage 011 only works from the US. You need to find out what international code you must

011 only works from the US. You need to find out what international code you must dial to reach an international number. it sounds like you don't need one, because 809 is for the Dominican Republic, and you should have had to dial your international code +1-809-586-9875.

What country are you in? Help us out a little with that information. It also seems that if you can dial that number directly, then you are on a U.S. calling plan with Vonage. I bet you could dial any number in the U.S. without the international or country code. If this is the case, then you need to change your plan with Vonage.
